Esacol 210H

Esacol 210H is a hydrocolloid belonging to the polysaccahrides family. It’s soluble both in hot and cold water and it’s suitable to be used as thickener, rheology modifier and water retention agent. Is also treated with an anticaking agent in order to increase its humidity resistance.

 

Chemico-physical characteristics:

Chemical description: modified polysaccharide

pH: 6.0 – 9.0 (2% w/w water sol)

Appearance: ivory brown-flowing powder

Moisture: < 8%

Bulk density: 0.60 – 0.80 g/ml

Particle size: 99/9% < 35 mesh

Solubility: complete both in hot and cold water

Brookfield RVT: 2500 – 5500 mPa*s (2% w/w solution, 20’C, 20 rpm)

 

Applications and dosages:

Gypsum/lime plasters:

0.15-0.30%

Cement adhesive:

0.35-0.50%

Cement/lime plasters:

0.08-0.15%

Esacol 50D1

Esacol 50D1 is a hydro-colloid soluble both in hot and cold water. Special modifications make it suitable as a thickener and a water retentive agent.

Appearance: free-flowing ivory powder

Esacol HS 24 is a hydrocolloid belonging to the polysaccharides family, soluble both in hot and cold water, suitable as thickener, rheology modifier and water retention agent. In particular, the specific properties combined with a high water retaining ability, make esacol HS 24 suitable for cement tyle adhesives.
